Backp DB
Backup Files
Sync users in vBridge
Install Joomla 1.0.8
Delete users from the Joomla db
Install com_connector for Joomla
Install vB 3.5.4
Reinstall mods
Update 2: Well I have hit into some problems. So I guess the site will be available only around 12am EST i.e., 10:30am IST
UPDATE1: I guess it will take more than 4 hrs for this upgrade…..

PB will be taken down some time today i.e, March 22 for a portal as well as a forum upgrade. Hopefully, if everything goes on fine we should be back online in 3-4 hrs. More info will be posted.
